Cycling like mad

We've chosen not to use a car while we're here, but we get around fine on foot & on our bicycles (which Zoom Airlines allowed us to bring free!) and with public transit. Lisburn is not that far away, and we regularly cycle or walk there for shopping, though we do frequent the local Mace shop around the corner--as does just about everyone else in Lambeg, it seems, it's always so busy--for things we need immediately. We outdid ourselves yesterday, though; we brought home all the groceries you see in this flickr photo in R's bike panniers and in the backpack he was wearing! No wonder the neighbours shake their heads.
